Request - Looking for a few good Napoleonic soldiers (grognards) to play a game of Incredible Courage at Austerlitz at CSW in Tempe in 2012. All 3 parts will be completed by then and the full battle will be in its complete glory. Game Design Poll Questions: 1. Which of these 2 color schemes would you prefer for the Death Ride Kursk - Totenkopf SS Units? info@grognardsims.com

Hi again, Chris! Forgot what might be my most important feedback (to me anyway): Your rulebook isn't a "book". They've been an easy read and convey your intent as well as the rule. I'm sure someone will find a fault or two, but I'm not a Rules Lawyer and have always been OK with the need for some occasiional interpretation. I just like not having to read a book (literally) that has to be constantly consulted to play the game. Well done, in my opinion. Mike ************************************************************************* Chris: I just received my copy of Iwo Jima. I've looked at other simulations of this campaign. I believe that your design has set the standard. Thanks for your fine effort. Vince ************************************************************************* Got my 3Pz and the Island Campaigns I'm sorry Chris, but I can't wait until
2012 for 11th Pz. You're simply going to have to work faster on this awesome system. Salerno is going to be one hell of a topic for this system as well. John ************************************************************************* My first Grognard Simulations, Inc
Games O.K. guys I like to jump in to gaming
systems headfirst, but in this case the water was warm and Deep. I received Death Ride:
Kursk Gross Deutschland and 3rd Panzer and also got Iwo Jima! Now I received my games last Friday -
Two days to get here (Trenton area of NJ) fromn Texas! That was a rather serendipitous
event, though I was not able to really get good look at the games till late today. All three games look like they give a
good accounting of a Tactical Level game - I put them on the same scale as The Gamers/MMP
Tactical Combat Series (TCS) and similar scale as Advanced Tobruk System (ATS), Advanced
Squad Leader (ASL) and Panzer Grenadier. My Favorite Series is TCS - But I have to admit
the more I see and the more I read the more I am impressed! In the TCS games my favorite are the
GD'40,41, and 42. So coming out with the GD at Kursk it was a must have. The rules are
rather well written and being a veteran of war-games I notice them taking a lot of rules
and even rules systems not only from games of the same scale, but from games that have a
larger scale like Operational or Theater level games! And to add more whip-cream on to
these games they but these rules together in a very unique way coming up with base rules
for both the Death Ride series as well as the Island Campaign! All in all I am very
impressed! ...I am a very Happy Customer and I
hope to be buying many a good game from your company! Now one last thing, I have gotten
very used to companies having the latest versions of their rules on line. So I can just
download them and print them as I need them! You really should think of doing this!!! A very happy, satisfied, and hope to very loyal Client Dave |
